How Women In Action Began
Comprised of nine women who live and work in Big Sky, we all shared the same concerns about children and families who were missing opportunities for quality healthcare and education. To better serve those needs, this group of dedicated women became a Board of Directors and in 2005 WIA was founded as a nonprofit organization to help further address these concerns.

The goal of WIA is to enhance and enrich the lives of children and families within our community through a broad range of social programs including; medical/ dental assistance, education, arts, children’s activities and scholarship programs for both the summer and winter.
